Nemesis Matches

Not because I like saying the forum name over and over, but because these are unique in that they use the combat system the forum is based on.  Refer to Match Charter#1 for information on how to do them.  These require validation slips from the forum in order for you to claim the experience and gold and such.  They are basically done the same way, but with different outcomes.

Brawl:  This is your spar, or honor match - same idea.  A fight with no real consequence except for an IC knockout and some bragging rights.  A victory is worth 2000 experience to the victor(s), 500 experience to the loser(s).  Money awarded is opponent's dice sides for victor(s), and $30 for loser(s).

Slave Match:  Consider this slavery, kidnapping, prisoner of war, etc.  Obviously you can choose to RP, or not RP; whatever you want and feel comfortable with.  I don't give a shit about that.  This match however plays an important role in game mechanics because the loser is unable to participate in any match other then brawls for one week after validation, unless freed either by choice of the slaver or won back in a release match.  So, if you get in a situation where rival factions are DMing and trying to kill each other out of the forum (those days used to be fun) then obviously, this can be a very good strategic tool to prevent assistance.  Someone who has lost a slave match is under this restriction immediately after the match ends, but the term doesn't start until validation is given.  Don't worry, it will be timely.  A victory is worth 2500 experience to the victor(s), 500 experience to the loser(s).  Money awarded is opponent's dice sides for victor(s), and $30 for loser(s).

Release Match:  This is an attempt to release someone who has lost a slave match.  It is not necessary to wait for a validation, you can do this immediately after the SM.  However, if the original SM is invalidated then the rewards will be converted to basic brawl.  A victory is worth 2500 experience to the victor(s), 500 experience to the loser(s).  Money awarded is opponent's dice sides for victor(s), and $30 for loser(s).

Death Match:  Basically what it says, you are trying to kill someone.  A victory is worth 5000 experience to the victor(s), 500 experience to the loser(s).  Money awarded is opponent's dice sides for victor(s)x2, and $60 for loser(s).  Resurrections must occur after.. I don't want to set a time limit just yet because I'm not sure how active priests are gonna be and hate seeing people PK'd over technicalities rather then legitimately losing their rezz count through combat.  Important!  These can only occur in contested territories.  There is a separate charter that explains this and lists them.  The reason for this is that when I had it as a 'kill' forum where you could jump anyone's ass with a death match anywhere, it was too imposing for some of the softer, more snuggly people.  So this rule is to keep those sorts happy.

Combat Sequence:  These are dice fights against NPC's, who are controlled by GMs.  There are rules in place that ensure no 'cheating', such as the randomization of dice and attack order to prevent OOC grudges from influencing the RP situation.  More on this as I figure it out.  XP / monetary awards will be the equivalent of the above mentioned matches that they most closely resemble.

Free Forum Matches

These are the traditional matches - this is more or less a very loose guideline.  These are matches that either occurred in another forum or you did outside of the forum for fun.. not really something we spend a lot of time moderating, it's just here so you can transfer your current experience without too much hassle.

Spar:  20 x PS win, 200 XP Proc, 15 Loss.

HM/SM/RM:  30 x PS win, 300 XP Proc, 30 Loss.

MS:  5 x #PPL x HD win, Loss = 100 x #PPL, Proc = 100 x #PPL

Most other things are generally forum specific and should have a validation slip where the XP and what not is awarded.  DM, FC, AA, MA, etc.. I'll take a look at what the forum it occurred in gave you and decide if it's reasonable.  The same goes for non validated special matches like scar match, etc.  There has been a lot of stuff out there over the years.
